The American Irish Association of Westchester was established in 1974. The mission of the AIA is to fulfill the needs of the Irish-American community on a social, cultural, and educational level.

The AIA of Westchester is the official host of Westchester County’s Annual Irish Heritage Day. It’s a 6 hour long celebration of Irish culture, music, and Irish diaspora clubs and vendors.

Supporting students of Irish heritage through educational scholarships that promote academic excellence, community involvement, and cultural pride.

Every year the AIA celebrates the contributions of Irish-Americans in the community, with prayers, speeches, awards, music and dancing.
